While many states are seeing slightly higher gas prices today, Connecticut motorists are enjoying a two-cent drop at the pumps compared to this time last week, says AAA Northeast. Connecticut gas prices dipped again this week, according to AAA Northeast. Today, a gallon of self-serve, regular gas in Connecticut averages $2.53, 2 cents lower than this time last week and 15 cents lower than this time last month. Connecticut average gas prices have fallen below last year’s average. Today a gallon of self-serve, regular gas in Connecticut averages $2.58, 8 cents lower than this time last year.
